Jeg skrev en mail til Kári og satte mig til at vente. Så tikkede overraskelsen ind: "Instead of telling you about my favorite five, I will gladly tell you about the five worst pieces of music."
Så for den! Islændingen går sine egne vegne, og vi går med:
1. Snoop Dogg: 'Drop It Like It's Hot'
Kári siger: "Last year this was the worst song I´d ever heard, the once great rapper proved that he had completely lost it when he made a song with very strange and irritating sounds from his mouth and a melody made by his five year old son a Fischerprice keyboard."
2. Rihanna: 'Umbrella'
Kári siger: "Unbelievably this song won her a Grammy award. Probably tells us more about the people who decide who gets one rather than the artist."
3. Snoop Dogg: 'Sexual Eruption'
Kári siger: "Once again Snoop Dogg releases a fart of a song. It´s not quite as bad as "Drop It Like It's Hot" but still horrible. Alvin and The Chipmunks made a remix that is probably worse which goes to prove that at the moment Snoop Dogg isn´t the worst artist out there."
4. Akon: 'Right Now'
Kári siger: "I was wondering when Akon wrote this song, did he write "nah nah nah nah" into the lyrics or is it something he came up with on the spot, anyway I want to congratulate him on probably the worst lyrics ever written."
5. Rihanna: 'Disturbia'
Kári siger: "Like Akon, Rihanna writes lyrics so bad it leaves you speechless. Her advantage in competing for the worst song ever, her voice can also drive a man insane in the membrain."
